IN REMEMBRANCE: Mona Scantlebury Board Member Emeritus, Codman Square Health Center Codman Square Health Center is sad to say goodbye to long-time Board member Mona Scantlebury, who passed away on April 23rd at 94 years old. Mona served on our Board since the Health Center's early days, and was a member of the Area Cooperative Team Association, one of the six organizations that helped found the Health Center. Mona was a vitally important member of the Board. She was always positive and encouraging, and relied on her deep faith to get her and others through some of the toughest times faced by the Health Center in its early days. Mona was direct in her advice and counsel as a CSHC Board member. She was a woman of faith who advocated for her community and she was tireless in her commitment. Mona has been a special friend and her legacy lives on in what she has created in our community. May she rest in peace.
