The congregation of Twelfth Baptist Church numbers approximately 600 members. Predominantly African American, it boosts a unique mixture of people in terms of age, ethnicity, nationality, educational background and socioeconomic status.

Twelfth Baptist is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A. and is Bible believing, Bible preaching and Bible teaching deeply evangelical in theology, Twelfth Baptist is strongly committed to social justice as evidenced in the many ministries which serve the community.
