Thank You to Everyone Who Came to Whittier Street Health Center's 2021 Men's Health Summit! After 15 challenging months, unlike any other, it is wonderful that we were able to host our 21st Annual Men's Health Summit on June 26th, 2021! The goal of the summit was to unveil the our new Mobile Health Unit, to celebrate members of our community who champion men's health, educate our community about the current state of men's health, and identify the steps our community members can take to improve their overall health and wellbeing. This year's theme "Men Take Action on Holistic Health and COVID-19: Physical, Mental & Economic Wellbeing," was chosen not only to highlight the far reaching effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, but also to educate people about the importance holistic health plays in everyday life. We are grateful for the support of all who made this event possible including the Honorable Mayor Kim Janey, our sponsors Eversource Energy, West Insurance Agency, Eastern Bank, AdMeTech Foundation, Red Sox Foundation, Beacon Health Options, Tufts Health Plan. Contributing Sponsors, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, BMC Health Net, WeCare365, Massachusetts Prostate Cancer Coalition. We would also like to thank our Men's Health Champions Keynote Speaker, Marty Martinez, Chief of Health and Human Services for the City of Boston, Ed Gaskin, Executive Director of Greater Grove Hall Main Streets; Jim Hunt III Executive Vice President, Corporate Relations and Sustainability at Eversource Energy; Leonard Webb, President and Founder of Ethnic Online; Reverend Christo Kamara, Senior Pastor at Saint Paul's Victory Christian Assembly of God; Reverend Samuel Acevedo, Pastor at the Congregation of the Lion of Judah, Panelists Pastor Gerald Bell, Attorney Joseph D. Feaster Jr., Dr. Steven Wright, Dr. Joseph DeMertine, Nixon Cornay, Renaldo Franklin, Thomas Carter, Malik Arachiche and guests. WHITTIER STREET HEALTH CENTER FREDERICA M.
